WTC Anchorage recently participated in a trade mission to Harbin (China), at the end of February, led by Anchorage Mayor Ethan Berkowitz. The mission consisted of a dozen Anchorage business and civic leaders, including Greg Wolf, the Executive Director of WTC Anchorage. During the mission, Wolf and Bruce Bustamante, the President and CEO of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, visited WTC Harbin. They received a tour of the expansive WTC building project and, following the tour, met with WTC Harbin leadership and staff to discuss areas of mutual cooperation. These areas included agriculture, seafood, aviation, tourism and education. Follow-up visits by both sides are being organized at this time. In January this year, WTC Harbin was a participant at WTC's Anchorage's 13th Annual Alaska-China Business Conference.

WTC Anchorage and WTC Harbin will continue strengthening economic ties between Alaska and China through WTC cooperation.
