World Trade Center St. Louis (WTCSTL) has been working with Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and officials in Suzhou to consult on the development of a new medical center in China.

Washington University School of Medicine officially announced this new partnership between Siteman Cancer Center and China’s HuiCi Health Management on July 5.

The partnership will include physician training and design of a new 1,000 bed medical center in Suzhou, in eastern China.

Tim Nowak, Executive Director of the WTCSTL says “This collaboration directly contributes to new healthcare service related exports from St. Louis to China and reinforces the importance of building long-term international relationships. “

WUSM medical students, residents and fellows will have opportunities to learn and train at the new medical center.
