Jakarta, Indonesia – As part of the Art at WTC program, WTC Jakarta is proud to collaborate with the Embassy of Ireland in Indonesia to present The Yeats Sisters & Irish Design: Making, Identities, and Legacies.
Launched in celebration of St Brigid’s Day, this exhibition highlights the artistic and cultural contributions of Irish women, particularly the Yeats sisters, while also paying tribute to Indonesian women in craft. Showcasing pieces from the Cuala Archive at Trinity College Dublin alongside batik paintings by Vania Gracia, the exhibition explores the shared heritage of textile and design in both cultures.
The opening reception took place on 10th February 2025 at WTC Jakarta, attended by distinguished guests from the diplomatic and business communities. The exhibition is open to the public and will be on display at the WTC 2 lobby area until 7th March 2025.
