THE FULL MOON EVENT OF 2023 IN BINH DUONG, VIETNAM
The First Full Moon Festival was held on the Lunar January of 2023 with the featured Festival of Lady Thien Hau Temple in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam.
On the afternoon of January 30th (on January 9th of Lunar calendar), The Lady Thien Hau palanquin procession was organized in a traditional style: Lady Thien Hau’s palanquin was carried through the main roads with dragon and lion troupes. The parade was demonstrated around the area of Provincial Administration Building, the WTC Binh Duong complex, and other main facilities of the city.
The festival is one of the major and unique cultural traditions of the local, attracts tens of thousands of visitors from everywhere making pilgrimage during peak days. People joined the festival with spiritual belief that it will bring them prosperity and fortune for the upcoming year.
