Smart business model for a more resilient economy

Aug 25, 2021

World Trade Center Brest and World Trade Center Binh Duong New City organized the webinar “Smart business model for a more resilient economy” on August 24th with the intention of building and strengthening the relationship of Vietnam and France. We also wanted to promote trade exchange in the two countries and improve resilient business models for a more stable and sustainable economic growth. More importantly, this event focused on facilitating and creating business opportunities for local corporates to expand to Finistere Department (France), and vice versa, to Binh Duong province (Vietnam).

It was a pleasure for us to feature special guests from various business sectors. We would like to firstly say thank you to Mr. Ngo Duy Khang (Deputy CEO of VNTT Group), Dr. Pham Thuy Linh (Deputy Director of Becamex Smart City office), Mr. Frederic Nicolas (General Delegate of French Tech Brest+) and finally, Mr. Herve Balusson (Supervisory board President & Founder of Olmix Group). Furthermore, many thanks to our representatives from the two WTCs – Mrs. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh (Executive Director of WTC Binh Duong New City) and Mr. Sebastien Cann (Manager of WTC Brest) for making this event a reality.

It was a great opportunity for us to gather experts from different fields but somehow relevant to share their knowledge and experience. Mr. Sebastien Cann opened the event with wonderful remarks and continued with his speech to present the Western Brittany Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIMBO), the foundation of WTC Brest and the main economic transitions of Western Brittany, France. Moving on to Mrs. Linh Huynh, she spoke about the reformed Binh Duong New City and the WTC Binh Duong New City – the international trade hubs in industrial area. We then passed the floor to Dr. Linh Pham to go deeper to the Smart City model, constructed by Becamex IDC and their development of the Science & Technology Industrial Park. Mr. Khang Ngo then continued with the telecommunication of Binh Duong province and their future steps to establish an Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 era. Following was Mr. Frederic Nicolas on his presentation about La French Tech Brest+, a start-up collective in the city of Brest, France. The webinar ended with Mr. Herve Balusson’s input on algae, the renewable resource of algro-ecological. Olmix Group has created alternative solutions for agriculture transitions, and they have been one of the important players in the market, including Vietnam.

Thank you to our participants for taking their time to tune in with us in this event!
