BALLERUP, DENMARK - The World Trade Centers Association and three North European World Trade Centers have shared their vision and cooperation plans on Wednesday, March 18th 2015, during a seminar hosted by World Trade Center Ballerup in Denmark.
The event started with the presentation of "The New European Version of the World Trade Center" by Lars Heilesen, Senior Consultant at WTC Ballerup, and continued with the establishment of a cooperation agreement between the participants:
Estelle Leclercq from the World Trade Centers Association spoke about how the independent international organization works actively to increase cooperation and trade globally, regionally and locally.
On this note, the agreement aims to increase transparency and further the effectiveness of the World Trade Centers’ operations. Therefore, the business agenda included various topics such as the mutual use of the WTC facilities and services for the individual WTC users, discounts and preferential arrangements, the establishment of a common tenant database, as well as the importance of creating joint arrangements and/or B2B events between two or more World Trade Centers.
The informal afternoon ended on a very positive note with the participants brainstorming on the development of a World Trade Center concept based on the business and cultural background in Northern Europe. The next meeting is set for September 2015 and Director Lars Gøtke - WTC Ballerup looks forward to visiting our partners in Gothenburg.
