Reciprocity: European WTCs take the Lead

Dec 21, 2014

WTCA congratulates the European WTCs for creating the first Reciprocity Agreement for their Region

Reciprocity is the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another. For the WTC Network, reciprocity means that WTCs offer one another unilateral discounts, assistance with requests for information, and prompt attention in all collaborative matters.

Last October, during the EMEA Regional Meeting of the 2014 Member Seminar, the Nordic-based WTCs published a Reciprocity Cooperation agreement and invited European WTCs to join. To date, more than ten World Trade Centers in Europe have joined in this cooperative agreement, and the list is growing. The participating WTCs to date are:

  • WTC Stockholm
  • WTC Gothenburg
  • WTC Poznan
  • WTC Malmo
  • WTC Poitiers Futuroscope
  • WTC Nantes
  • WTC Tallinn
  • WTC Cyprus
  • WTC Rennes
  • WTC Bremen

The agreement offers discounted office space, free wifi and other office amenities, discounted conference facilities, preferred restaurant rates, and much more to participating WTCs, their tenants and business members.

WTCA congratulates the participating WTCs for their pro-active, collaborative spirit, and encourages other regions to follow its example. To view the list of reciprocity services, please visit the Resource Center and click on the “WTC Reciprocity” folder.
