Ms. Hanel said, “The Government of Queensland in Australia is organising Business Conference Programme on the sidelines of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) from April 4-11, 2018. The event offers a unique and vibrant opportunity for industries across 17 Commonwealth countries to explore business collaboration. Specifically, we focus on business opportunities in seven Commonwealth countries, including Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia and India. We seek the support of World Trade Centre Mumbai in inviting participation of Indian business delegates across food and agriculture, sports, knowledge and innovation, education and other sectors for this event”.

Ms. Hanel emphasized that there is a need for greater interaction among business communities in India and Australia to strengthen bilateral trade and investment. “I hope the Business Conference alongside Commonwealth Games 2018 will be an excellent platform to promote India-Australia economic partnership. Our government will facilitate visa, accommodation and other facilities for the participation of Indian delegates in the event,” Ms. Hanel added.
