What is your vision for your WTC business and why did you decide to obtain a WTC license?

Mr. Guimarães (WTC Ribeirão Preto): Our vision is to establish WTC Ribeirão Preto as a key international business hub in Brazil’s interior. We saw the WTC license as a strategic opportunity to integrate local businesses into a global network, unlocking access to international markets and fostering sustainable growth through knowledge exchange and global partnerships.

Mr. Moreira (WTC Campinas): As CEO of WTC Campinas, I am leading a vision that connects the potential of one of Brazil’s most strategic regions to the global economy. Campinas is part of a metropolitan area composed of 20 municipalities and more than 30 million people. It is a territory with critical influence in the economic and urban development of the State of São Paulo. The city of Campinas has established itself as a national reference in innovation, science, technology, education and healthcare. Its infrastructure and intellectual capital place it among the most important urban centers in the country. Because of these attributes, it has been recognized as the Brazilian Silicon Valley. With the WTC license, I am developing the Científico, an innovative complex that combines advanced healthcare services, business and scientific convention facilities, integrated retail, offices, residences and leisure. It is not only a real estate development, but a new urban model based on connectivity, intelligence and well-being. This development will anchor Villa Gávea, a planned urban center I conceived to promote sustainable growth and enhance quality of life. Villa Gávea is based on the principles of urban kindness, offering integrated housing, commerce, public space and services in a human-centered design. It fosters interaction between residents and visitors, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment. This vision reflects WTCA's mission. It is a project rooted in economic development, global connectivity and the idea that cities should serve as platforms for innovation and opportunity. Through my company, Alia Empreendedores, I have committed to delivering this model in a way that honors both local identity and international standards.

What are you looking forward to most about joining this global network?

Mr. Guimarães (WTC Ribeirão Preto): We are excited for the opportunity to connect our local business community with professionals and organizations around the world. The WTCA network provides a unique platform for fostering strategic alliances, participating in global trade events and generating business relationships.

Mr. Moreira (WTC Campinas): Joining WTCA allows me to place Campinas on the international business map. With presence in nearly 100 countries/territories and more than 300 cities, WTCA offers a powerful network for connection, influence and opportunity.

How will our global WTCA community benefit from your local business network?

Mr. Guimarães (WTC Ribeirão Preto): By connecting international businesses with local businesses in Ribeirão Preto, we unlock new opportunities for trade and cooperation. Together with the WTC brand, international members have a reliable way to find contacts and grow their presence in Brazil.

Mr. Moreira (WTC Campinas): As part of our mission, I am creating the WTC Campinas Business Club. It will offer strategic services including networking events, business forums, sector-based committees and access to a global contact base. We will also organize trade missions and international exchanges to promote knowledge sharing among leaders. Campinas is located just over an hour from São Paulo’s capital. It already plays a key role in Brazil’s innovation and productivity. By establishing a strong WTC presence here, I intend to deepen the city’s connection to the global flow of commerce, technology and investment.

How will the WTC brand benefit your local community?

Mr. Guimarães (WTC Ribeirão Preto): The WTC brand brings credibility, visibility and global reach to our local market through events, trade missions and a physical space dedicated to business development, and support of internationalization efforts to position Ribeirão Preto as a key player in global commerce.

Mr. Moreira (WTC Campinas): My goal is to use this platform to generate access to global markets for companies in our region. I want to help entrepreneurs connect with partners in other states and countries where WTC businesses are active. These relationships will open new commercial routes, attract investment and support the internationalization of local businesses.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.

Mr. Guimarães (WTC Ribeirão Preto): An interesting fact about me is that I’ve always been passionate about building connections — whether in business, community projects or international collaborations. I believe strong relationships are key to success.

Mr. Moreira (WTC Campinas): I am an entrepreneur who believes cities must be built with purpose. As CEO and founding partner of Alia Empreendedores, I have dedicated my work to designing spaces that combine economic intelligence with quality of life. I created the concept of Planned Centralities and led the development of Villa Gávea, a WTC Campinas-endorsed project that brings together commerce, housing, public spaces and services into a cohesive urban structure. It is designed not only to function efficiently, but to inspire connection and collective prosperity. I also developed Compact Centralities such as Gávea Trading, which applies the same vision on a smaller scale while maintaining impact and efficiency. These models are adaptable and replicable in other urban contexts. Through these initiatives, I am building cities that respond to the challenges of our time. My approach combines territorial intelligence, architectural vision and a deep belief in cities as living systems that shape human experience.
