The WTCA Editorial Team sat down with WTCA’s newest (returning) Member to learn more about their plans for their WTC license and how they envision bringing new opportunities to the global WTCA network.
Our interviewee:

What is your vision for your WTC business and why did you decide to rejoin the WTCA network ?Â
Dr. BenÃtez (WTC Quito): My vision is to establish World Trade Center (WTC) Quito as a modern, secure, and efficient business hub that is connected to the world — a space that not only offers high-quality infrastructure, but also creates genuine opportunities for collaboration, investment, innovation and growth for the companies and professionals within our community.
We decided to actively rejoin the WTCA network because we believe in the value of belonging to a global organization that connects cities, businesses and people under an internationally recognized brand. For us, this move represents an opportunity to strengthen our institutional identity, regain our international standing, and open new doors for Quito and Ecuador.

How will our global WTCA community benefit from your local business network?
Dr. BenÃtez (WTC Quito): Quito and Ecuador boast highly skilled business leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs, as well as productive sectors with immense potential — including agribusiness, tourism, technology, energy, logistics, finance and professional services. Our local network can offer the global community insights into the Ecuadorian market, investment opportunities, strategic partnerships and connections with companies seeking to expand internationally. WTC Quito serves as a reliable gateway for those wishing to explore business opportunities in Ecuador and the Andean region.

How will the WTC brand benefit your local community?
Dr. BenÃtez (WTC Quito): The WTC brand brings prestige, trust and international reach. For our local community, this can translate into greater visibility, new business opportunities and access to events, training, networking and connections with companies and organizations from other countries. Furthermore, we want the WTC brand to contribute to Quito’s development as a competitive and attractive city for business. Our goal is to promote a more integrated business community, foster innovation and support local companies in expanding their markets and strengthening their capabilities.
The active presence of WTC Quito also fosters a sense of belonging and excellence. We want those who work, invest or conduct business in our building to feel part of a globally recognized professional environment.
