Phoenix Products Wins Martha Layne Collins Award

LEXINGTON, KY, USA -  Phoenix Products, Inc. (PPI) was awarded today with the Martha Layne Collins Award for Excellence in International Trade by the World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY). The annual award, named after Kentucky’s 56th Governor, is given to companies for their accomplishments in international business and ability to successfully navigate global trade markets in order to positively benefit the state.

Awards were given for: Micro Enterprise (10 employees or less); Small Enterprises (50 employees or less); Medium Size Enterprises (less than 500 employees); and Large Size Enterprises (greater than 500 employees).

PPI was awarded for Small Enterprises. PPI is located in the Fifth Congressional District of Kentucky, in the heart of Appalachia, where they focus on producing and distributing aerospace shipping and storage containers.

For over 40 years, PPI’s team of designers, engineers and subject matter experts have poised PPI to become the number one aerospace shipping and storage containers center of excellence for all major aerospace, defense and commercial industries. They have designed and produced 20 different main rotor blade, transmission and engine component shipping and storage containers, each of which passed the standards for Rolls-Royce, Sikorsky, DoD, Tinker and Hill AFB and foreign military sales.
