Odisha participates in World Trade Expo 2019

World Trade Center, Mumbai in association with All India Association of Industries organized the 3rd Edition of the World Trade Expo 2019 at the Expo Center, World Trade Center Mumbai from 13 to 14 November 2019. World Trade Center Bhubaneswar with active support of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Odisha promoted the trade and business potentials of the State of Odisha. Selected exporters from the state took the opportunity to demonstrate and display their products representing focus sectors such Organic spices, Hospitality Services, Essential Oils, Handlooms & Handicrafts, Engineering products etc. The exporters from the state gained an excellent opportunity to interact and highlight their services at a global platform and explore greater market for their services.

Mr. P.M. Dwibedy, Deputy Director, Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing (DEP&M), represented the Department of MSMEs, Government of Odisha in the expo and interacted with representatives of more than 30 participating countries. He also discussed with the delegates about the various policy initiatives of the State Government of Odisha highlighting its ease of doing business parameters and its export potentials. The exporters too explored the prospective business potentials and actively networked with the participating countries as well as 50 MNCs exhibitors during the B2B session.
