Niryat Bandhu Campaign for Enhancing Exports

World Trade Center Bhubaneswar associated with Engineering Export Promotion Council of India and office of the Director General of Foreign Trade, Government of India organized a session on Niryat Bandhu Scheme at North Odisha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Balasore. The major objective of the session would be to promote potential exporters by training them on the nitty-gritty of foreign trade, various support schemes, subsidies provided by the government and global business opportunities available. 

Mr Pawan Sureka, Convener, EEPC India, Cuttack (Odisha) Chapter giving his welcome address highlighted the ample natural resources available within the state of Odisha and encouraged the entrepreneurs to look into the global markets. He further motivated them to reap the benefits of various support mechanisms available to venture into exports. 

Mr Debasish Chakraborty, FTDO, DGFT, Kolkata in his address discussed and provided insights on the principle of exports, type of exporters and detailed out on the export procedure 

Mr S N Patnaik, Asst. Manager, DIC, Balasore delivering his speech spoke about the export potentials of Odisha. While highlighting the various steps taken by the State Government in order to enhance exports he urged the young masses to proactively collaborate and work under the government initiatives.

Mr Dipan Mitra, Manager- Business Development, National Stock Exchange limited shared his insights on how the MSME fraternity could get financial assistance through NSE. 

Ms Nimeshika Natarajan, Asst Director, WTC Bhubaneswar speaking at the session described the role of World Trade Center in promoting international trade. 

Mr Kousik Bhattacharjee, Sr. Executive Officer, EEPC India (ER) making a presentation on various activities of EEPC India and its forthcoming international events and IESS IX 2020 and also requested members for their active participation.
