New WTCA Regional Development Manager, N. America

NEW YORK, NY, USA - July 16, 2015 – The World Trade Centers Association (“WTCA”) has named Martin Salloum as its new Regional Development Manager for North America. Mr. Salloum will begin his duties immediately.

During the past four years, Mr. Salloum served on the WTCA Board of Directors, and was a member of the Board’s Executive Committee and Digital Task Force. He also played an important role in drafting the WTCA’s Strategic and Business Plans in 2011.

Mr. Salloum was President and CEO of the World Trade Center Edmonton and Edmonton Chamber of Commerce from 1995 to 2013, and subsequently served as a director on the WTC Edmonton board.

WTCA’s Interim CEO, Rolf Draak, said Mr. Salloum was selected because of his knowledge of the World Trade Center network, his decades of experience working with member-based organizations, and his desire to assist WTCA Members throughout the United States and Canada.

In addition to his work for WTC Edmonton and the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Salloum served as CEO of the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, and as Economic Projects Manager for the Edmonton Economic Development Authority.
