Mr. Lee Mingxing Leads Asia-Pacific Trade Discussion at 616 Global E-commerce Festival

On June 16, 2025, the 616 Global Cross-border E-commerce Festival and Shenzhen International Cross-border E-commerce Expo opened in Shenzhen. Among the distinguished guests was Mr. Lee Mingxing, Asia-Pacific Advisor to the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and President of the Asia-Pacific World Trade Group .

Festival Highlights: Empowering Brands with leading Tech and Quality

Under the theme “Cultural Brands Going Global with High-tech and Quality Sustaining Competitiveness,” the expo covered nearly 40,000 square meters. It hosted over 1,000 exhibitors, 600+ government and business leaders, and tens of thousands of industry professionals.

On the first day alone, more than 36,000 attendees registered on-site, with the picture live stream drawing over 255,800 views and the video live stream surpassing 30,000 views. The event emphasized four pillars: internationalization, professionalism, industrialization, and branding, showcasing cutting-edge developments in cross-border e-commerce.

Lee Mingxing Proposes Regional Coordination to Accelerate Global Expansion

In his keynote speech, President Lee introduced a new strategy: “Asia-Pacific Regional Rule Coordination,” aimed at addressing common challenges faced by companies going global. He also presented the “Asia-Pacific Supply-Demand List” initiative, which helps align China’s manufacturing capabilities with consumer demand in ASEAN countries, Japan, and South Korea—unlocking new growth opportunities for cross-border trade.

Strategic Partnership to Drive Asia-Pacific Trade Integration

During the event, President Lee took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the International Cross-border E-commerce Association and the launch of the National Cross-border E-commerce Industry Global Expansion Alliance. Representing the Asia-Pacific World Trade Group, he signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the International Cross-border E-commerce Association. This agreement signifies a move toward deeper regional integration and the creation of efficient global expansion channels for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Looking ahead, the Haikou World Trade Center will continue to leverage the regional networks of WTCA and the Asia-Pacific World Trade Group to enhance its “one-stop, compliant global expansion” solutions—helping businesses enter new markets more cost-effectively and efficiently.
