Media Invited to New Terminal 1 Official Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting on September 23
WHAT:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â San Diego International Airport will mark the official opening of the new Terminal 1 at a ribbon cutting event. Executives from the airport, airline, and joint venture construction design firm will deliver a presentation followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting. After the ceremony, media will be escorted through security on a tour of the new Terminal 1 during the first full day of operation with flights arriving and departing and concessions in operation.
