Louisville to Host World Trade Day Kentucky 2015

LOUISVILLE, KY, USA – July 15, 2015. On Friday, October 9th, 2015 The World Trade Center Kentucky will host World Trade Day Kentucky, presented by UPS, to celebrate 26 years of promoting global partnerships. This year’s event will be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

About World Trade Day

World Trade Day Kentucky is the largest gathering of trade and business professionals in the tri-state region. Attendees come to hear from corporate, education and global leaders on a wide range of trade topics including the world economy, compliance, free trade agreements and export awareness. Agenda items include: educational break-out sessions on topics such as global logistics, international business culture and the latest techniques to quickly identify lucrative markets abroad.

This year we are excited to announce new two new program additions to World Trade Day Kentucky:

  • The Kentucky Gubernatorial Candidates forum on Global Trade and Investment. 
  • Private one-on-one appointments with our many country dignitaries from around the world.

The World Trade Day Kentucky awards luncheon is the focal point of the conference and is a celebration of Kentucky’s competitiveness in global markets. At the Awards Luncheon, the World Trade Center Kentucky will announce the winners of the Martha Layne Collins Award for Excellence in International Trade and the Kentucky Gubernatorial Candidates will be highlighted. Our keynote speaker will offer commentary on today’s global landscape with authority and will be announced later this month.

The cost of admission to World Trade Day Kentucky 2015 is $149 for WTC-KY members, $199 for non-members. Tables of eight (8) can be purchased for $900 (WTC-KY members) or $1200 (non-members).
