KITA Forum 2025

KITA (Chairman: Jin-Sik Yoon) hosted KITA Forum 2025 on Tuesday, 21 January and the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu Seoul.

"The Age of Hyper-uncertainty and the future of the Korean trading sector" was the key theme of the Forum and key figures representing the global trading sector attended the Forum, including Jin-Sik Yoon, the Chairman of KITA, Deok-geun Ahn, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ki-moon Ban, the former UN Secretary-General, Maria Castillo Fernandez, the Ambassador of the EU to Korea, and Michael Beeman, the former Assistant USTR.

This forum was broken into two sessions: a) Changing global trading dynamics in 2025 and Korea's strategies and b) An age of great transformation - key efforts needed to expand the Korean trading sector. Each section included a keynote speech, special lecture and theme presentations, which offered attendees with insights and information on megatrends of global trade.
