ICT Titans to Land in Taiwan for COMPUTEX

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - This year the annual international trade show “COMPUTEX TAIPEI”, organized by the World Trade Center Taipei, will run from June 2nd through to the 6th. A total of 1,702 ICT firms from around the world will gather under the roofs of WTC Taipei Exhibition Halls 1 and 3, the Nangang Exhibition Hall, and the TICC to show off their latest offers.

Computex is hailed as one of, if not the most important, events in the global ICT industry. This year’s show will once again feature an impressive lineup of ICT industry titans from Taiwan, the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and the Netherlands. Around 30 percent of the exhibitors will be flying in from overseas to join their industry peers, including Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA, SanDisk, Cooler Master, Hisense, HK HDF, Supermicro, TP-Link, and Zotac.

Moreover, the 2015 Computex will feature a special area dedicated to Wearable Technology. It will comprise 34 individual exhibitors and their products including smart glass, watch, apparel, and electronic paper. There will also be a special area dedicated to 3D Business & Applications. Research firm Gartner has projected that 3D printing will be one of 2015’s hottest technologies and that the year’s global 3D printing product shipments will increase by 98% and then double in 2016.

The 2015 Computex is the venue where the major trends in the industry will be set for the next 12 months, and to promote the trendsetting startup companies in the areas of Smart Living, the Internet of Things, wearable technology, and intelligent vehicle systems, WTC Taipei will be organizing startup forums in Exhibition Hall 3 during the show period.
