Honorary Consuls Meeting in Stockholm Embassy

From May 12 to 15, a productive meeting took place at the Italian Embassy in Stockholm, gathering for the first time General and Honorary Consuls of Sweden in Italy and Italian consular representatives in Sweden.

Cristina Sbaizero, Honorary Consul of Sweden in Trieste and CEO of the World Trade Center Trieste, took part in the meeting.

The event held at the residence of H.H. Michele Pala, Italian Ambassador to Sweden, was also attended by H.H. Jan Björklund, Swedish Ambassador to Italy.

The meeting provided a space to share experiences on consular services and on fostering economic, commercial, and cultural cooperation at the international level.

It highlighted the vital role of Consuls in strengthening bilateral ties between Italy and Sweden.

The program also included a meeting with the Association of Swedish Industries and a visit to Ericsson’s innovative factory in the telecommunications sector.

In addition, a fruitful roundtable discussion took place with representatives of Business Sweden at their headquarters in the World Trade Center Stockholm.
