HCMC DOIT VISITS BECAMEX, SURVEYS LOGISTICS

Recently, on August 5, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City delegates visited and worked with Becamex Group, with the accompaniment of representatives of logistics associations.

The visit aimed to strengthen regional connectivity in the field of logistics and industrial production after the merger process of the Southern Megacity; at the same time, survey practical models of digital transformation, AI, robotics and automation applications throughout the logistics chain.

This is also an opportunity for both sides to exchange experiences and promote cooperation in building a smart logistics ecosystem in the Southeast region.

- The working delegation was introduced to an overview of the Becamex Group ecosystem, including industrial park infrastructure, urban areas, logistics and technology, and a smart operating model at the IOC Center.

- Visit the Cargill factory (Bau Bang Industrial Park), where the entire process of inputting, producing and packaging is automated, applying high technology in internal logistics.

- Visit the Lazada Logistics Park Goods Sorting Center (Song Than Industrial Park) with an area of nearly 20,000m² and a level of automation reaching 99%, is one of the most modern centers in the region.
