FREEZING MAN ANCHORAGE feat. JEFFERSON STARSHIP

ANCHORAGE, AK, USA - The first FREEZING MAN 2015 is presented by WTC Anchorage. It will kick off with Jefferson Starship (originally Jefferson Airplane) here in Anchorage for a one night only concert Sunday, March 15 at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. 

Jefferson Airplane was one of the premiere psychedelic rock bands of the San Francisco scene in the 1960's along with their contemporaries The Grateful Dead, Santana, Janis Joplin and Hot Tuna. They were the first San Francisco band signed to a major label and headlined the iconic Woodstock festival in 1969. Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship co-founder Paul Kantner and other band members will be here to celebrate the band's 50th Anniversary and play the hits that you remember.

Not only that, but the opening artist will be Michael Grimm who was the 2010 winner of America's Got Talent show. His versatile, blues- influenced style has received much critical praise.
