CYPRUS AND RUSSIA VISITING TRIESTE

From July 10th and July 12th, World Trade Center Trieste hosted the incoming of two delegations coming from World Trade Centers Cyprus and the Research Center "International Trade and Integration" in Moscow.

The objective was to deepen cooperation opportunities considered during the 2018 WTCs European Regional Meeting held in Cyprus few weeks before.

The topics approached were either based on how to fund WTC projects, specifically trying to understand how different economic environments could affect their developments.

For instance, one of the best practices project mentioned has been the Food Emporium Platform, launched by World Trade Center Trieste, involving further World Trade Centers all over the world.

It was important to make an overview of the actions taken and planned, in order to support the common clients (Members) in the development among the different markets.

Plus, the delegation was invited to have a meeting in the Samer & Co. Shipping company headquarters offices and then, they visited the Custom Free Zones of the Port of Trieste.

The contribution of Gruppo CLAS representatives was furthermore focused on European funding opportunity.

Eventually, the whole agenda of meetings had the purpose to share the successful stories of each World Trade Center, of the local environment, of the peculiarities of a city such as Trieste that has a wide choice of fiscal and port storage benefits.
