Computex to Push Edge of ICT Innovation

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Computex, a top international computer trade show, is set to push the envelope of the information and communication technology (ICT) industry once again.

From rising startups to the biggest names in the industry, all will gather at the 2017 Computex in Taipei to showcase their latest innovations in IoT, AI, and high-end gaming PC hardware from May 30 to June 3.

Computex is a massive annual event where the visitors attend to see the best innovations the global ICT ecosystem has to offer. Visitors to the 2017 show will be able to see more than 1,600 companies from around the world rolling out their latest products across 5,010 booths.

"Computex is a leader among global ICT trade shows for business matching making, and the show aims to push the edge of technological innovation,” said Walter Yeh, President of the Taipei World Trade Center. “In the future, we will continue to transform and invite elite partners from around the world to join us in building a global technology ecosystem.”

AI, IoT, VR, gaming and startups as well as business solutions will be the main themes of the five-day extravaganza this year.

Electric car giant Tesla will be joining Computex for the first time and demonstrate its next-generation AI technology. In addition, Dell will be returning to the show after a decade-long hiatus.
