"China in a New Perspective" - Executive Course

Dec 29, 2014

LEEUWARDEN, THE NETHERLANDS - China offers enormous possibilities for trade, not only for the production of goods but also as a possible market for products and services. However, opening the Chinese market takes preparation and knowledge. One of the ways to prepare for trade with China is through the Executive Courses of the Business Academy offered by the WTC Leeuwarden. Our latest course China in a New Perspective was held on Tuesday, the 11th of December 2014.

The course was led by René Hoekstra, an entrepreneur with trading experience in over 80 countries who currently teaches International Management at several Chinese and Taiwanese universities. Together with Evert Groenendijk from Equimira and Ching Ping Au from Your Op, he informed our participants about the ins and outs of trading in China. Several topics were treated during the day, among these were: the concept of Gaunxi and the importance of networking, legislation about location in China and the different possibilities, the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) and product demands by the Chinese government and the role of the Dutch government in helping with trade in China.

The Course has received only positive evaluations by our participants, they especially liked the direct contact with the lectures and the possibility for questions and interaction with the other participants. WTC Leeuwarden is looking forward towards the steps that they will take in their trade with China.
