Feb 18, 2015

ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - At the end of December 2014 the World Trade Center Rotterdam was sold to Bouwinvest Dutch Institutional Office Fund N.V. and Bouwinvest Dutch Institutional Retail Fund N.V. The sale transaction of WTC Rotterdam is regarded as one of the largest property transactions realized in the Netherlands in 2014.

The sale also implies a change of management. For this reason Jolande Huijers, Managing Director, left the company after 33 years. “It was with great pleasure that I worked on the development of the building and the organization and I look back on a wonderful time which I will not easily forget! I would like to thank everyone for the excellent and often also personal contacts over the past years and wish everyone success in the future, at both a business and personal level.”, so Jolande Huijers said.

Bouwinvest is one of the largest Dutch investment managers specialized in real estate and also owns World Trade Center The Hague. The two World Trade Centers will work closely together. The new WTC Rotterdam organization is being formed currently.
