Mr. Ghazi Abunahl, Chairman Emeritus of World Trade Centers Association, during the “BRICS+” and “the Belt and Road” International Business Conference which took place in Xiamen, Fujian-China on September 18th, acted as a Panelist in the first Panel Discussion of the day, during which he stressed the great importance of cooperation between the countries under the BRICS+ Initiative, increase cooperation with other emerging markets and aim for financial stability, growth, and further development.
Mr. Mehran Eftekhar, Director of World Trade Center Cyprus and World Trade Center Fuzhou acted as a Panelist for the second Panel Discussion. During the discussion Mr. Eftekhar took the opportunity to detail the way in which World Trade Centers act as a one stop shop for the multitude of services they provide, and support the Belt and Road initiative by acting as a link between China and the rest of the world. The conference was attended by delegations from across the globe including representatives from a plethora of World Trade Centers, a South African Delegation and a United Kingdom Delegation.
The “BRICS+” and “the Belt and Road” International Business Conference was organised and hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Fujian Sub-Council, World Trade Centers Association, the Department of Trade and Industry Republic of South Africa, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanxi Sub-Council.
