BLESSING THE WTC HEAL AS ONE CENTER

In preparation for the opening of the WTC Heal As One Center, a simple ceremony of blessing was conducted last April 23, 2020, led by AFP Vice Chief of Staff Admiral Gaudencio Collado Jr., WTCMM Vice President for Operations Ms. Anabel Mariano, AC Energy Vice President for Development Ms. Anabele Natividad, Makati Development Corporation General Manager Mr. Jowell San Jose and WTCMM AVP for Operations Ms. Wines Mariano. In the same occasion, the office of the chaplain donated 500 bibles which will be distributed to all the bed cubicles.

The 502-bed quarantine facility will be managed by 18 military doctors, 30 nurses, and 60 medical aides from the AFP. To help manage the facility, the AFP will also provide security and administrative personnel. The conversion of WTCMM as a health care facility was completed by Makati Development Corporation, an Ayala subsidiary. “The World Trade Center Metro Manila has always been in the forefront of exhibitions and events, from the most complex set-up of foreign and local events to the simplest build-up. We have had the privilege to be recognized worldwide by international organizations, but nothing will compare to this opportunity given us to work with like-minded local organizations, together with government, to help fight the spread of Covid-19," said Pamela D. Pascual, President and CEO of World Trade Center Metro Manila.
