Arkansas and MIDA Talk Trade

ROGERS, AR, USA - On October 1, the World Trade Center Arkansas hosted a visit from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). Nurul Shams Rusli, Director from MIDA Houston attended B2B meetings at the WTC Arkansas arranged by Senior Director of Global Trade Strategy, Boon Tan. TruTrak, ORC Products, and C&M Machine Holding Inc. from northwest Arkansas represented machinery manufacturing and the aerospace industry – the state’s #1 export. Arkansas Economic Development Commission also attended with officers representing Asia trade and aerospace industry for the state. Additionally, agriculture and logistics opportunities were explored. Arkansas and MIDA mutually agreed that they could work together in human capital development, a major contributor to industry success. World Trade Center Arkansas and MIDA look forward to future collaboration.
