A warm welcome to the South African Ambassador

On Monday, November 25, World Trade Center Twente had the honor of hosting a delegation from the South African Embassy. The delegation included companies operating in both the Netherlands and South Africa, representatives of the government, and our valued business partners.

The program featured engaging discussions during a roundtable session, where the South African Ambassador to The Kingdom of The Netherlands, His Excellency Mr Madonsela, signed Hengelo's City Guestbook in the presence of Mayor Schelberg. This symbolic gesture underscored the strong and growing ties between South Africa and the Netherlands.

Additionally, the roundtable focused on exploring bilateral trade opportunities and highlighting Twente's Soft Landing possibilities, which supports businesses in establishing operations in the region.

The day concluded with a networking lunch and a visit to the Oyfo Techniekmuseum, where innovation and culture took center stage.
