A new stepping stone for the Export Club Algiers

The World Trade Center Algiers has gathered its Export Club’s members in a memorable dinner at the Sofitel Hotel on the 28 of February 2018, where the gust of honor was Mr. Lyes Ferroukhi the Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Commerce and the ex-head of international Trade at the same institution .

Mr. Ferroukhi said in his opening speech that "The diversification of the national economy through non-hydrocarbon exports is the priority of the government”, and added that the government has instructed the Ministry of Commerce to remove all pre-export authorizations in order to facilitate trade between Algeria and foreign countries .
He then spoke about the different available funds that were available to companies that aimed at developing their exports and promote their presence abroad .These funds were also here to take care of all the logistical matters related to their participation in international trade exhibitions .

Regarding exports to Africa, he said that "the negotiations on the continental free trade zone are progressing well at the level of the African Union, which will facilitate exports operations between African countries " which represents a fantastic opportunity of Algerian Businesses.

Soon after , Mr Ahmed Tibaoui , CEO of the World Trade Center Algiers has expressed to the audience his regrets as how the members are under-using the International World Trade center Network , and has invited them through an open Q&A session to share their ideas on how they can benefit fully of this world’s most trusted business network .

This gathering has shown that the World Trade Center Algiers is highly implicated in the development of international trade in Algeria , as well as it’s commitment in helping and assisting the members in reaching their target .
