5-in-1 Taipei AMPA to Showcase Vehicle Innovations

Organized by the Taipei World Trade Center, the 5-in-1 Taipei AMPA is Asia's third largest auto parts event. The annual extravaganza will be held across two venues at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Center and TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 over the course of five days from April 11 to 15, 2018.

As the one-and-only professional trade platform for two and four wheeled vehicles and related vehicle parts in Asia, the 5-in-1 mega show will be joined by 1,200 exhibitors across 3,400 booths.

Three of the five shows, the 2018 Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (Taipei AMPA), the Taipei Int'l Automobile Electronics Show (AutoTronics Taipei), and the first-ever Taiwan International Intelligent Transportation Show (ITS), will be held from April 11 to 14, 2018. Meanwhile, the Taiwan International Motorcycle Industry Show (Motorcycle Taiwan) and the Taiwan International Tuning & Car Care Show will be held from April 12 to 15, 2018.

In 2017, the shows attracted over 7,000 of overseas buyers from 129 countries and regions. This year, the 5-in-1 show will once again showcase everything from auto parts and automobile electronics to tuning and restyling, satellite navigation systems, and electric vehicles.

In facilitating the rapid grow of the smart transportation sector, TWTC will be launching the first edition of the Taiwan International Intelligent Transportation Show, to be held at TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 from April 11 to 14, 2018. According to Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute of the Institute for Information Industry (III), it has been estimated that the output of the intelligent transportation systems industry registered US$36 billion in 2017 and will jump to US$48 billion in 2020.

The 2018 5-in-1 Taipei AMPA is expected to blend B2B and B2G (government) together to bring about new opportunities. With smarter and more intelligent transportation trending globally, the 5-in-1 show will be joined by exhibitors specializing in the latest vehicle technology to showcase smart car innovations such as telematics systems and the Internet of Vehicles applications. TWTC will also invite professionals from the public transportation and rolling stock industries as well as municipal governments to display their development efforts in the intelligent transportation field.
