What promises to be an exciting 2015 WTCA Board election is now underway.
On March 16th, we announced the names of the twenty-one individuals who will compete in this year's election for the fourteen open seats on WTCA's Board of Directors. Voting began on Monday, March 30th.
We encourage Members to learn about the candidates and their views on how they would govern and lead the Association if elected. The candidates, listed alphabetically by region are:
Asia/Pacific Region
Latin America Region
Middle East / Africa Region
Europe Region
North America Region
Each Member should have received our election notice, which describes how the election process will unfold. On March 30th, each eligible WTCA Member was sent an electronic ballot by secure e-mail, along with instructions for completing the ballot. This e-mail notice, sent on behalf of WTCA from announcement@associationvoting.com, includes a secure link to each candidate's profile and candidate statement. Please ensure that the e-mail did not end up in your spam/junk folder.
Each eligible WTCA Member is entitled to cast one vote for EACH open seat on the WTCA Board, even if the seat is not in the Region where your World Trade Center is located. The election will close at noon (Manila time) on April 27th, and the winning candidates will be announced that afternoon at the WTCA General Assembly in Manila. There will be a formal inauguration of the newly elected Directors at the General Assembly Gala Event on the evening of Tuesday, April 28th.
WTCA is best served when its Board represents the diversity of WTCA's global Members - the men and women on six continents who operate World Trade Centers to promote prosperity through international trade. Your participation is critical to the success of our organization.

Chair, WTCA Nomination & Compensation Committee
