VAXJO, SWEDEN - On the 21st of January I was invited to put put down the first stone of the WTC Växjö. This WTC licence was initiated by our team at MIPIM in 2007 and it is with great satisfaction that all permits are now granted for a green WTC in Europe’s greenest city. Following the example of WTC Malmö, Sweden, who was declared as the world’s most energy efficient glas building, Skanska, who participated in the construction of OneWorldTradeCenter in NY, is now together with the WTCA Green Team aiming at a platinum Leed certification. As the Mayor Mr. Franck pointed out, this will be the greenest building in Europe’s greenest city.
