The 20th World Business Leaders Roundtable, co-hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Organizing Committee of China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) and World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), organizeded by CCPIT Xiamen/COIC Xiamen/WTC Xiamen, was successfully held in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 7, 2021.

Themed "Artificial Intelligence Reshaping Industries", the Roundtable is one of the important forums of this year’s CIFIT. Influential experts and scholars in the field of AI at home and abroad and heads of institutions gathered together to share insights and exchange ideas on new business models of digital economy, such as deep integration of AI technology with industry, promotion and application, development and innovation, to discuss investment hotspots and foster new engines and drivers for sustained economic growth in the post-epidemic era. Mr. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, and Mr. Liu Yusheng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Xiamen People's Congress attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Mr. Robin van Puyenbroeck, Executive Director of Business Development of the World Trade Centers Association, also addressed the Roundtable.

As the core driving force of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, AI will inject continuous innovation vitality into economic development and social progress. The 20th World Business Leaders Roundtable focused on industry trends and brought together a number of influential experts and scholars in the field of artificial intelligence, including Baidu, and Huawei, among others. They elaborated on the implementation and application logic of AI chip development, cloud computing, natural language processing, machine learning reasoning, image recognition, Internet of Things and other aspects.
