Government-Enterprises Online Dialogue

CCPIT Xiamen / WTC Xiamen co-hosted the “Government-Enterprises Online Dialogue on Optimizing the Business Environment of Fujian Province” which was held online in Beijing, Fuzhou and Xiamen simultaneously on November 13. The organizer of this virtual meeting is China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the other hosts include CCPIT Fujian branch and CCPIT Investment Promotion Center. Mr. ZHANG Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, and Madam GUO Ningning, Deputy Governor of Fujian province, addressed the meeting.

The meeting aims to build a bridge between the foreign-invested and trade companies and the government authorities, promote the optimization of business environment, and attract foreign economic agencies, chambers and associations and their business members to invest in Fujian province.

Mr. LIN Jian, Deputy Mayor of Xiamen introduced the business environment in Xiamen, which covered its perfect industry chain, prominent policy advantages, outstanding business environment and livable environment. He also pointed out that Xiamen would try every effort to develop international level business environment to attract investment. He expressed his hope for the chambers and associations to introduce member companies and organize trade missions to Xiamen to investigate and invest here.

The meeting gathered delegates from overseas chambers and associations in China including AmCham China, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, China British Business Council (CBBC) and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), as well as 38 foreign-invested companies and over 200 domestic companies.

The Xiamen session of this Dialogue was hosted by CCPIT Xiamen / COIC Xiamen / WTC Xiamen. Chairman Mr. ZHANG Quanjun and Vice Chair Mr. HUANG An’jie attended the Fuzhou session and Xiamen session respectively. Its member companies, Alphalog Freight System Xiamen Corp and Xiamen Tyko Group, shared the major issues in operation with relevant provincial government authorities at the online dialogue.
