Connecting local companies to the WTC network

Jan 27, 2017

WINNIPEG, CANADA - The World Trade Centre Winnipeg is full swing into its second series of conversations with local businesses. The series entitled 5C: Café, Croissant, Commerce, Conversations & Connections, takes place in an intimate setting where local companies are gathering to share their stories, challenges and dreams for the future in the presence of the WTC Winnipeg trade team and board co-chair, David Angus.

The first series of conversations was held in December 2016 and allowed the WTC Winnipeg to reach out to companies faced with trade challenges. This also gave the organization the platform to speak about the advantages offered by the WTC network and dig deeper into the specific markets companies are looking to target.

“What a great gift this has been for the WTC Winnipeg! To be given the opportunity to listen to these companies share their stories and hear about the risks they need to undertake has been an eye opener. We are getting to know their strengths and their challenges and can better position ourselves to be an efficient resource for them. The WTC network has so much to offer and, through the 5C conversations, we’ve been gaining constructive insight which will allow us to determine how best to move forward with helping local companies expand their business,” explains Mariette Mulaire, President and CEO of the WTC Winnipeg.
