Building Bridges to Global Markets

The  U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) held its 2024  Legislative Summit  at RRBITC in April, connecting America’s Hispanic business leaders with government and elected officials. This bipartisan effort aimed to influence legislative priorities and advocate for the interests of Hispanic businesses nationwide. The summit facilitated meaningful dialogues on policy and economic issues impacting the Hispanic community. Key topics included access to capital, workforce development, and strategies for driving economic growth within Hispanic communities. The summit featured prominent keynote speakers including Marisa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade.

An ancillary meeting hosted by the  U.S. Commercial Service  focused on their  "Building Bridges to Global Markets"  initiative designed to expand export opportunities for underserved communities.  Discussions centered on strategies to enhance market access and support for minority-owned businesses, fostering inclusive economic growth. By promoting equity and inclusivity, the International Trade Association  aims to ensure that all businesses have the opportunity to participate and thrive in the global economy.
