His Excellency Khazar Ibrahim, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United States  joined us at WTCDC in mid-September, where much of the conversation centered around Azerbaijan's preparations to host  COP29  in Baku later this year. Ambassador Ibrahim provided key insights into the nation's climate leadership, as well as its strategic position as a bridge between East and West and its evolving bilateral relationship with the U.S.

We were also pleased to hear from  Mr. Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency , who highlighted Azerbaijan’s investment in SMEs and their essential role in driving the country’s economic growth. It was an exciting and informative discussion, reflecting Azerbaijan’s focus on sustainability and innovation.
