While most of our WTC team are working remotely, WTC Warsaw remains active during all the pandemic time to support platforms of cooperation between companies from different countries running a business in the conditions of the COVID-19, how to adapt and use the new Electronic communication tools for entrepreneurs and local governments, Optimization of online channels on foreign markets and adapt to the new international norms in trade and communication.

WTC Warsaw has participated in more than 20 virtual trade missions and webinars, and number of virtual global conferences. During last month WTC Warsaw Chairman Jacques Tourel had meeting in Warsaw with 5 Ambassadors to express our continued support and initiate more actives using new electronic platforms. continue the good relations and support the bilateral relations during this special time.

Meeting with Ambassador of Spain His Excellency Javier Sanabria Valderrama, on expecting exchange trade missions as soon as travel will be permitted, number of meetings with the Ambassadors of our international relations and informing them of our efforts to establish the WTC in their capital cities.

Mr Tourel has met with the Ambassador of Croatia His Excellency Tomislav Vidosevic to update on his efforts to establish the WTC in Zagreb and in Dubrovnik and explain the possible benefits of WTC to the local economy.

The Ambassador of Lithuania to Poland H.E. Eduards Borisovas had a meeting with Mr Tourel following the high level governmental summit between the two countries, the first of this scale in more then 200 years.

The ambassador presented Lithuanian companies in the renewable energy sector and new high-tech companies with new line of innovative products. Mr. Tourel has visited Vilnius lately to meet potential project to become the local WTC for Vilnius and is planning meet Vilnius Mayor as soon as travel between the countries will open up again. The Ambassador inform about his last visit to Vilnius and efforts to establish the WTC in Vilnius in a new commercial mixed use tower designed by Danielle Liebeskiend , who is also the architect of the new WTC New York.

Another meeting was to the Slovenian embassy to meet the Ambassador of Slovenia Her Excellency Bozena Forstnaric Boroje, inform of his efforts to support Ljubliana to join the WTC network and the potential WTC contribution to the local economy. A visit with Ljubljana mayor will be set as soon as travel between the countries will be open. 

Another last minute visit before closing the travel between Poland and Ukraine was to Kyiv Ukraine where Mr. Tourel has met city officials and local business organiozations to support the efforts to establish a new WTC in Kyiv. He has also met the Ukraine minister of Foreign affairs Mr. Dmytro Kuleba who is supporting this initiative.

The Ambassador of Algier in Poland His Excellency Salem Ait Chabane, invited Mr. Tourel to the embassy to Discuss expanding bilateral trade between the countries, possible new JV production of milk powder products in Algier which Poland is one of the world leaders and to increase exports of Algierian agriculture products to Poland.
