TRIESTE, ITALY - For all fans of sea sailing, for those who do not want to miss a spectacular show, your next appointment is in our beautiful city of Trieste on the second Sunday of October.

The international sailing regatta, the Barcolana, has the largest number of registered sailing boats in the Mediterranean Sea. Year after year, since 1969, the Barcolana has become increasingly more popular, attracting international crews and world famous sailors. The gathering is the biggest of its kind and turns the Gulf of Trieste into a European sailing capital for seven days.

WTC Trieste is happy to host other WTCs to help them get to know the event better and for any further information about it.

For the entire week, Trieste has a full calendar of nautical events in various locations in the city. From 2nd October to the 11th October there will be meetings, exhibitions and shows and a city crowded with sailing enthusists!
