
The 2025 Chinese-Speaking Regional Meeting and Training of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) was successfully held in Beijing from May 21 to 22. Dr.  Xiaoyuan Li, Chief Communication Officer and General Counsel of World Trade Center Tokyo, attended the event and shared the Center’s recent key initiatives and future development plans.
As part of the meeting agenda, Dr. Li delivered a brief presentation on the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, highlighting planned collaborations between the Expo and the global World Trade Center network. She emphasized World Trade Center Tokyo’s ("WTC Tokyo") active efforts to enhance cooperation with WTCs across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, leveraging the Expo as a global platform to promote business resource integration and strengthen regional influence.
Centered around the theme “Competitive Real Estate Markets and Innovative Solutions,” the conference focused on emerging trends in global trade services and real estate development. During the event, WTC Tokyo engaged in productive discussions with representatives from China, Singapore, Portugal, and other regions, exploring potential collaborations in areas such as member services, space operations, and cross-border initiatives.
Through its participation in this regional meeting, WTC Tokyo reinforced its connections with fellow WTCA members and laid a solid foundation for expanded international cooperation at Expo 2025 Osaka.
