INTERPRED-WTC Sofia hosted the Ceremony of Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT) Awards Competition 2017
The event was held on February 27, 2018 with the participation of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and under the auspices of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, gave the Special Contribution Award to Svetlin Nakov, an inspiring lecturer, who got involved thousands of young people to focus on programming and career in the IT sector.
The award for the Company with the bigger contribution to the popularization of the image of the Bulgarian ICT industry in the world won Dateks, a Bulgarian company that is a world leader in the production of fiscal devices.
The BAIT Awards are well respected for the contribution to the development of information and communication technologies /ICT/ in Bulgaria of individuals and institutions, companies and teams and users with significant projects, demonstrating the benefits of implementing ICT for business and society.
A significant part of the Awards is dedicated to the young people who have made their way in ICT - young companies and teams, students and pupils, as well as their teachers, teachers and educational institutions, who encourage and prepare them for this realization.
