SEATTLE, WA, USA - Twenty-two nonprofit members of the World Trade Center Seattle gathered to kick off the Compassion Games on July 27, 2016. The day was proclaimed “Compassion Day Seattle” by Mayor Edward Murray. These and other organizations in Seattle will be competing to see who will be the most compassionate city in America! To commemorate the 15 year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the “games” take place between September 11 and September 21. Hours of services, numbers of people served and money raised will be measure during these 11 days. The city with the highest numbers will be named The Most Compassionate City in America. The games are being held all over the world.
