SĂO PAULO, BRAZIL â The World Trade Center SĂŁo Paulo, through Mr. Sergio Mincarone Filho (International Business Manager) visited Poland from December 23rd to December 29th 2014, in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation with two key partners, the WTC PoznaĆ and the Business in MaĆopolska Centre.
The WTC PoznaĆ plays an important role in the foreign promotion of the main exhibitions in Poland along with PoznaĆ International Fair (MiÄdzynarodowe Targi PoznaĆskie), and it also boosts inbound and outbound trade missions with the WTCA network. Mrs. Danuta Kubasik (CEO) has become a tender partner of the WTC SĂŁo Paulo in 2014 due to several bilateral projects as well as the exchange of best practices between WTCs. In the meeting, new initiatives were discussed for the forthcoming year, including the introduction of national brands in both countries.
Based in Krakow, the Business in MaĆopolska Centre (CeBiM) is a unique initiative in Poland, aiming to improve the regionâs investor & exporter services and economic promotion. Its representatives, Mr. Filip Jarmakowski (Export Promotion) and Mr. Jacek Bielawski (Project Manager) presented the current situation of the trade balance between Brazil and MaĆopolska, predetermining industries of interest for both regions and trade missions that could take place in 2015.
Then, Mr. Marek Martynowicz (FDI Expert) introduced the investment attraction profile of MaĆopolska and KrĂĄkow Technology Park, where a giant Brazilian ICT company, Stefanini IT Solutions, develops successfully its local operations since last year.
The International Business Department at the WTC SĂŁo Paulo provides trade and investment assistance throughout Brazil, including the services provided in the other WTCs offices in the country.
