WTC San Francisco CEO on Board of Local EDC

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA - World Trade Center San Francisco is pleased to announce the CEO and Principal, Michael Mattox has been appointed to the board of directors of the Thurston County Economic Development Council. Mr. Mattox, a long time resident of Thurston County, is excited about the opportunity to bring his experience to EDC. Mr. Mattox has been welcome to the board to extend his areas of expertise in international trade and influence in the area.

Mr. Mattox is the Founding Principal of Access Texas Oil and Gas, LLC and CEO of Access U.S. Oil and Gas, Inc., a publicly reporting company established to fund oil projects with foreign investments from EB-5 investors. He is also Member, Partner, and on the Board of Copestone Energy Partners, LLC, a privately held oil company located in Houston, Texas. He has worked with economic development agencies at both the state and local levels and has been an entrepreneur for more than 25 years. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at St. Martins University in the United States and Shanghai, China

The Thurston County Economic Development Council was established in 1982 and is located in Lacey, Washington. Their mission is to create a dynamic economy that supports the values of the people who live and work in Thurston County. A recent initiative lead by the EDC is the creation of the Thurston Community Economic Alliance, which has received contributions by over 100 community leaders. The new alliance will focus on expanding five strategic areas of Thurston County.
