ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - During the award ceremony on Monday November 23rd in the WTC Rotterdam, Goedegebuur Meat Rotterdam was announced as the winner of the Rotterdam Entrepreneurship Award 2015. Entrepreneur Michiel Goedegebuur received de prestigious award from the City Councilor Maarten Struijvenberg. Goedegebuur left therefore the nominated companies ShoreTension and Viscon Group behind.

Proud Winner 

Entrepreneur Michiel Goedegebuur took the award. “I am very happy and I am very proud of the whole company. The new generation continues the company Goedegebuur, gives a personal twist and adds new touches to it. With the earning of the Rotterdam Entrepreneur Award as a result. It feels amazing! But my grandad and my father worked very hard to build up this company. This award is for them as well.”

Peter Goedvolk received sixth Mr. K.P. van der Mandele Penning 

Before the ceremony of the Entrepreneurship Award, Peter Goedvolk received the sixth Mr. K. P. van der Mandele Penning. The van der Mandele Penning is annually awarded to a Rotterdam entrepreneur that dedicate in a wonderful way for the city Rotterdam and its habitants. The City Councilor Maarten Struijvenberg awarded the penning with the accompanying price of €10.000 to donate to a charity. Peter Goedvolk donates the cash prize to the charity De Vruchtenburg. A company that offers psychology care to people with cancer.
