ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - On November 21, 2016, Kamera Express was awarded the 2016 Rotterdam Entrepreneur’s Award. Entrepreneur Peter Merceij received the prestigious award from Alderman Maarten Struijvenberg during a celebratory ceremony at the WTC Rotterdam. Kamera Express beat FreelanceFactoring and Technotrading to win the award.

On behalf of the jury, the jury chair, Mai Elmar, said: “Peter Merceij and Ben Cornelisse are dynamic entrepreneurs who are determining their company strategy with utter passion and energy. They complement each other amazingly well in terms of knowledge and expertise, and are forging ahead not only on business indicators, but on gut feeling too. The Rotterdam Entrepreneur’s Award has been a highly-regarded award in the Rotterdam region for more than 31 years. Entrepreneurs in the region are rewarded for their good entrepreneurship. The event also stimulates other entrepreneurs and promotes the Rotterdam region as a prime location.
