WTC Pune signs MoU with US India Investors’ Forum

PUNE, INDIA - WTC Pune broke new grounds by signing a MoU with The US-India Investors Forum (USIIF) to support inbound and outbound investments between US and India.

At a well attended event in Pune, Mr. Manoj Gursahani, Chairman USIIF signed the MoU with Mr. Pankaj Ojha of WTC Pune. Ms. Shital Kapoor, Director USIIF, Mr. Anish Rajagopal and Mr. MJ Rai of US India Importers’ Council (USIIC) were present on the occasion.

Mr. Gursahani felt that dynamics of Pune as a global destination made it an ideal choice for USIIF presence and activities. Mr. Pankaj Ojha emphasized that both US and India enjoy traditional bonds that will be further strengthened by this MoU. Joint events and delegations will be the focus to activate the MoU partnership.

WTC Pune had the honour of jointly organizing an interactive session on 'Doing Business with the US' with Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, American Business Corner on August 14, 2015 at JW Marriott, Pune. The Seminar saw the participation of US Consul General Mr. Thomas Vajda and Principal Commercial Officer Ms. Camille Richardson. The session included presentations by USIIC, USIIF, VISA Section of the US Consulate in Mumbai, Qatar Airways and United Airlines. 

Pune industry stalwarts were present in big numbers to explore business opportunities with US.

Mr. Sagar Chordia, Director WTC Pune signed MoU with World Trade Center at Istanbul on 17th August 2015 during his visit to Turkey.

In the recent past WTC Pune activities included the launch of the Business Advisory Clinic series at WTC Pune for the benefit of the international trade community in Pune.
