Indo-Japan and Karlsruhe Delegations visit Pune

PUNE, INDIA - World Trade Center Pune interacted with Japanese Trade Delegation at the WTC Pune - BDO India Trade Meet on 26-Nov-15 in JW Marriott Pune. The Trade Delegation visiting Pune had key vendors of Mitsubishi Electricals, Japan.

The delegation included Mr. Yusuke Nakagawa, President - Nakagawa Rubber Industries ; Mr. Satoyuki Narita, President - Asahi Industries; Mr.Yusuke Shimomura, President - Tokai Dicast ; Mr. Seiji Tsuji, President, Daicho Rika Kougyo ; Mr. Tatsuya Kamiya, President - Hachiichi Sangyo; Mr. Akio Nomura, Director - Yada Kougyousho; Mr. Syoji Asai, Director - Cosmo Scienece; Mr. Tomoya Tamaoki, President Housei ; Mr. Junya Kadota, Senior Manager - Nagoya Works and Mr. Masahiro Kawata, Senior Manager - Nagoya Works.

Mr. Pankaj Ojha welcomed the delegation on behalf of World Trade Center Pune and gave them a glimpse of Pune as an international trade and commerce destination. He emphasized the role of World Trade Center Pune and its trade services to facilitate international trade in Pune and the WTCA network.

The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Toshihiko Konomi, General Manager - Strategic Planning; Mr. Sawan Gilda Senior Manager; Mr. Hemant Gang General Manager - SCM & IT and Mr. Sanjay Bhagwat from Mitsubishi Electric Co. India Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Sagar Shah, International Liaison Partner of BDO India LLP helped the delegation understand the new paradigm of ease of doing business in India. He dwelt on wide ranging issues from investment, taxation, labour and importance of manufacturing in India.

The recent India visit of the Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe saw a number of agreements in key areas including a deal for Japan to build India’s first high-speed bullet train, defense pacts that will clear the way for Japan to sell weapons to India, and progress on a civil nuclear agreement. 

In recent past a delegation from The City of Karlsruhe, Baden Germany also visited World Trade Center Pune alongwith Team BDO India - ahead of its international trade delegation coming to Pune in January 2016. City of Karlsruhe delegates included Mr. Ralf Eichhorn -Economic Development Department, City of Karlsruhe, Head of Unit Innovation; Ms Andrea Bühler, Energy Forum; Dr. Peter Fischer, Group Leader Redox-Flow Batteries, Applied Electrochemie, Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technologies (ICT) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marco Braun, University of Applied Science, Faculty Economic Sciences. Let’s bridge IT Director Ms. Iris Becker and Ms. Winnie Kulkarni co-ordinated the visit.
